1 tsp dishwashing detergent + 2 cups of freshwater.Mix these ingredients together.

For larger stains,spray or blot working from the outside in. What this method does, it prevents the stain from bleeding and spreading and becoming larger. We don't want this.

Use a wet-vacin order to suck remaining moisture in between carpet fibers.

Step 5
No wet-vac? Use a dry toweland blot the stain dry. Make sure you get all the excess moisture out.

Step 6
To help the carpet dry quicker, you can point a fan directly to the stain for a few moments to help in removing excess moisture.

Step 7
Once the area is completely dry, vacuum over it to remove excess stain residue and dirt.

Step 8
If the bloodstain doesn't disappear, keep repeating these steps until it fades out or completely disappears.

Hydrogen Peroxide

1. Moisten the stain with this mixture and let it sit for approximately one hour.
